Daniel Murphy blasts a grand slam as Nationals fall to Orioles
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy had a grand slam and five RBI's on 3-for-5 hitting as the Nationals lost to the Baltimore Orioles 10-8 on Wednesday.
Murphy has been on an absolute tear over the past two weeks, with 13 RBI's over the course of 11 games.
It has been a tremendous year from the dish for Murphy, and he is slashing .347/.391/.611 with a huge .414 wOBA and .264 ISO through 489 plate appearances. His 3.57 nERD ranks sixth in the majors.
