Logan Forsythe (back) out again Friday for Rays
Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe (back) remains out of the starting lineup Friday against the Texas Rangers.
The Rays had been expecting Forsythe to be ready to return Friday. The good news is that he was able to take grounders prior to Friday's game, so it's likely that Forsythe will return at some point over the weekend. He's slashing .280/.341/.476 in 393 plate appearances this season.
Forsythe owns a .350 wOBA -- which ranks 12th-best among second baseman -- and has hit 15 home runs to go with a .196 ISO. We project him to hit four more taters and post a .783 OPS over the rest of the year.
