Matt Duffy (Achilles) expected to be back in Tampa's lineup Friday
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy (achilles) is expected to return to the lineup for Friday's home game against the Texas Rangers.
Duffy was pulled from Tuesday's game with a sore left Achilles tendon, but it doesn't seem to have been a serious issue, as he is expected to make his return after only three days.
Duffy has struggled from the dish this season, slashing .261/.317/.359 with an ugly .296 wOBA and .098 ISO through 305 plate appearances.
