Adam Eaton blasts a go-ahead grand slam in the ninth, White Sox win
Chicago White Sox right fielder Adam Eaton cracked a grand slam in the ninth inning to lift the Sox to a 10-7 comeback win over the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Eaton was put in a great spot, stepping to the plate with one out and the bases loaded in the top of the ninth, and he made the most of it, taking Cody Allen deep for what proved to be the winning runs.
Eaton is slashing .276/.358/.418 on the year, with a .339 wOBA and .142 ISO through 535 plate appearances.
