Rockies' Carlos Gonzalez (ankle) sitting on Thursday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Gonzalez sprained his ankle during Wednesday night's win against the Dodgers. Rookie David Dahl -- and his .429 wOBA in 38 plate appearances this season -- will replace Gonzalez in right field and bat cleanup on Thursday. Gonzalez can be considered day-to-day.
Gonzalez ranks eighth in the majors with a 3.06 nERD, and he's hitting an impressive .322/.372/.569 with a .395 wOBA and .248 ISO through 438 plate appearances on the season. We project him to hit .282/.341/.532 with 11 taters and a .363 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
