Red Sox' Craig Kimbrel (knee) still on track for Monday return
Boston Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel (knee) is scheduled to return on Monday for Boston's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Kimbrel has been out since July 6, but resumed throwing off a mound on Monday, and assuming his rehab assignment on Saturday goes well, he should have no trouble returning.
Kimbrel is sporting a career-high 2.66 SIERA through 34 games this year, though he has managed a decent 1.24 nERD with a 37.04 percent strikeout rate. We project him to post a 3.19 ERA over the remainder of the season.
