Marlins' Jacob Realmuto gets a breather
Miami Marlins catcher Jacob Realmuto is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Philadelphia Phillies.
This looks like just a routine day of rest. Jeff Mathis, and his poor .228 wOBA this season, will get the start behind the plate on Tuesday.
Realmuto has been a pleasant surprise for Miami this season, slashing .307/.340/.407 with five home runs, 10 stolen bases and a .324 wOBA in 341 plate appearances. Our models project him to hit .273/.314/.385 with three jacks, six steals and a .305 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
