Washington activates Ryan Zimmerman from disabled list
The Washington Nationals have activated first baseman Ryan Zimmerman from the 15-day disabled list.
What It Means:
Zimmerman has been out with a rib injury since July 6, and he started playing rehab games last Thursday.
Zimmerman really struggled from the plate to start the season, hitting .221/.284/.402 with a career-low .293 wOBA, while his -0.68 nERD ranks 309th in the majors.
