Joey Meneses joining Nationals bench Wednesday
Washington Nationals first baseman Joey Meneses is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jordan Hicks and the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
Meneses will sit for the first time this season. Joey Gallo will return to first base and cleanup duty, while Jesse Winker will serve as the designated hitter and bat third. Eddie Rosario will start in left field and hit fifth.
