Tigers' Parker Meadows sitting versus lefty Monday
The Detroit Tigers did not list Parker Meadows as a starter for Monday's game against the New York Mets.
What It Means:
Meadows will move to the bench Monday while the Tigers platoon against Mets lefty Sean Manaea. Matt Vierling will take over in centerfield and will hit leadoff.
Meadows is projected for 477 plate appearances over the course of the season, with 11 homers, 54 runs, 45 RBI, 13 stolen bases, and a .231 batting average.
