A.J. Reed sitting out of Astros' matchup
Houston Astros first baseman A.J. Reed is not in Friday's lineup against the Seattle Mariners.
Astros Manager A.J. Hinch will use a righty-dominant lineup against Mariners southpaw James Paxton. Marwin Gonzalez is at first while Jake Marisnick is in left field, with Colby Rasmus also riding pine.
Our models currently project Reed to record a .261 wOBA with one home run and seven RBI's in 77 more plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
