Rays place Desmond Jennings on 15-day disabled list
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Desmond Jennings was placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 1, with a left hamstring strain.
The expectation is that Jennings will be back following the All-Star break. He hasn't been making a lot of progress since suffering the injury last Thursday.
Jennings has a posted a .286 wOBA and .202/.286/.352 slash with seven home runs, 19 RBI's and two steals in 218 plate appearances this season. We currently project him to bat .226/.303/.323 over the remainder of the year.
