Logan Morrison out of Rays' lineup on Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman/right fielder Logan Morrison is not in Wednesday's lineup versus the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Taylor Motter will handle duties at first base while Brandon Guyer holds it down in left field and hits fifth for Tampa Bay. Morrison is just taking a standard day of rest with southpaw David Price taking the mound for Boston.
Morrison is hitting .237/.318/.377 with a .308 wOBA in 264 appearances at the plate this season. He has totaled eight home runs, 26 RBI's and four stolen bases on the year.
