Rays' Junior Caminero sitting Tuesday in playoff opener
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Junior Caminero is not in the lineup for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the Texas Rangers.
What It Means:
Caminero earned a spot on the postseason roster after a seven-game audition to finish the regular season. He will be available off the bench in Game 1 while Taylor Walls starts at shortstop and Curtis Mead mans the keystone for Tampa Bay.
