Justin Turner continues to rake for Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Justin Turner continued his hot-hitting ways in Sunday's loss to the Pirates, going 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI.
Turner's two-run bomb in the third and RBI double in the fifth constituted all of the Dodgers offense on Sunday. He now has eight jacks and 21 RBI's in the last 20 contests for the Dodgers.
Turner is now slashing .250/.332/.437 with 11 rockets and 37 RBI's in 289 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .266/.338/.439 with another 10 long balls and 38 RBI's over the remainder of the year.
