Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) could play off bench Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees.
Guerrero was scratched from Wednesday's lineup with a knee issue, but he could be available off the bench Thursday after undergoing an MRI that came back clean. Spencer Horwitz will start on first base and bat sixth while Cavan Biggio serves as the designated hitter and bats third.
numberFire’s models project Horwitz ($2,600) for 6.4 and Biggio ($2,500) for 8.3 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Blue Jays have the worst implied total (3.26) and the game total is also the lowest of the day (7.0).
