Tyrone Taylor taking seat for Brewers Thursday
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Taylor went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs on Wednesday, but he will yield left field to Mark Canha on Thursday afternoon. William Contreras will serve as the designated hitter and Victor Caratini will start at catcher for Milwaukee. Canha will hit third and Caratini will hit seventh while Sal Frelick will take over as the leadoff hitter.
numberFire’s models project Canha ($3,100) for 9.3 and Frelick ($3,000) for 10.3 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is 4.27 and the game total is 8.5. Mikolas barely hands out any walks (4.6%), but his 15.1% strikeout rate is in the bottom 5th percentile of the league and his 16.0% whiff ranks even lower than that.
