Josh Donaldson joining Brewers bench Thursday
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Josh Donaldson is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals.
What It Means:
Donaldson will take a breather after he hit a three-run tater on Wednesday night. Andruw Monasterio will shift to third base and bat sixth while Brice Turang starts on second base and bats eighth.
numberFire’s models project Monasterio ($2,400) for 8.7 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is 4.27 and the game total is 8.5. Mikolas barely hands out any walks (4.6%), but his 15.1% strikeout rate is in the bottom 5th percentile of the league and his 16.0% whiff ranks even lower than that.
