Christian Yelich (back) absent again Wednesday for Brewers
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) remains out Wednesday against left-hander Zack Thompson and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Yelich has been sidelined with a lingering back issue, but the lefty hitter could be absent Wednesday because the Brewers are facing a southpaw again. Tyrone Taylor will make another start in left field and Mark Canha will bat leadoff again for Milwaukee. Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick will join Taylor in the outfield.
numberFire’s models project Taylor ($2,600) for 9.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is 4.25 and the game total is 8.5. Thompson has a poor 4.68 xERA and weak 44.9% hard-hit rate through 56 innings this season, but he does punch batters out at an impressive rate (25.9%).
