Orioles place Ryan Mountcastle (shoulder) on injured list
The Baltimore Orioles placed first baseman Ryan Mountcastle (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
What It Means:
Mountcastle missed the last week of action with a sore shoulder. Ryan O'Hearn will start on first base again and bat cleanup in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Cristian Javier and the Houston Astros. Heston Kjerstad will stay in place as the Orioles' designated hitter.
