Steven Kwan sitting Wednesday afternoon for Guardians
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Zack Greinke and the Kansas City Royals.
Kwan has been crushing it at the dish, but the Guardians are giving him a rare breather for the day game after a night game. Will Brennan will cover left field and leadoff duty for Cleveland. Ramon Laureano will be in right and Myles Straw will man the middle of the outfield.
numberFire’s models project Brennan ($2,500) for 9.5 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians' implied total is 4.60 and the game total is 8.5. Greinke's 3.7% walk rate is in the top 98th percentile of the league this season, but his 15.7% strikeout rate is in the bottom 6th. The veteran also has an ugly 5.18 xERA and .290 xBA in his 20th season.
