Trayce Thompson absent Monday for White Sox
Chicago White Sox outfielder Trayce Thompson is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Joan Adon and the Washington Nationals.
Thompson went 2-for-3 and drew a walk as a starter in Sunday's series finale against the Minnesota Twins. Luis Robert will reclaim center field from Thompson on Monday and hit third. Andrew Vaughn will hit sixth after batting third last game.
numberFire’s models project Robert ($3,300) for 12.0 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total is 4.65 and the game total is 9.0. Adon has a poor 5.92 ERA and 19.2% strikeout rate across 38 innings this season.
