Mark Canha (wrist) missing for Milwaukee again Thursday
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Mark Canha (wrist) is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Eury Perez and the Miami Marlins.
Canha is absent for a second consecutive game after he received a cortisone injection Wednesday to treat wrist soreness. The Brewers are starting Tyrone Taylor, Joey Wiemer, and Sal Frelick across the outfield again Thursday while Josh Donaldson takes over at designated hitter.
numberFire’s models project Donaldson ($2,600) for 8.5 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Brewers' implied total is 4.00 and the game total is 8.0. Perez has a 2.90 ERA and 3.72 xERA across his first 83 2/3 innings in the majors, with a sizzling 29.1% strikeout rate in the 85th percentile.
