Garrett Hampson on third base for Marlins Thursday
Miami Marlins infielder/outfielder Garrett Hampson has been added to the lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Joan Adon and the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Hampson is now starting on third base and batting seventh after Jorge Soler (hip) was scratched from the lineup. Josh Bell is serving as the Marlins' designated hitter and Jake Burger is heading over to first base in place of Yuli Gurriel.
