Patrick Wisdom back on Cubs bench Thursday
Chicago Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom is not in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Wisdom started at designated hitter in Thursday's series finale against the Detroit Tigers and went 0-for-2 with a strikeout. Seiya Suzuki will shift to DH on Thursday while Mike Tauchman returns to right field and bats ninth.
