Mariners give Julio Rodriguez well-deserved night off Monday
The Seattle Mariners did not list Julio Rodriguez in their lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Rodriguez was blistering hot at the plate over the last week and will now receive a well-deserved night off. Cade Marlowe will fill in for Rodriguez in centerfield and is listed seventh in the Mariners' batting order.
Rodriguez compiled a ridiculous 18 hits over his last 5 games, a feat Sports Illustrated notes has not been accomplished in the last 100 years.
