Angels' Eduardo Escobar on bench Monday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Eduardo Escobar is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Max Scherzer and the Texas Rangers.
What It Means:
Andrew Velazquez will start at shortstop and hit ninth while Luis Rengifo moves to third base in place of Escobar and bats fifth. Mike Moustakas will make another start on first base in place of C.J. Cron (back).
