Red Sox' Jarren Duran sitting versus left-hander Sunday
The Boston Red Sox did not include Jarren Duran in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Duran will take a seat against Tigers lefty Eduardo Rodriguez while Rob Refsnyder starts in centerfield and bats leadoff.
Duran has taken a step forward in his third season in the majors, batting .297 with 8 homers, 44 runs, 40 RBI, and 23 stolen bases. He has a .839 OPS in his 344 plate appearances so far, but does mostly sit against left-handed pitchers.
