Maikel Franco out of Phillies' lineup Monday

Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco is out of the starting lineup on Monday afternoon against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

What It Means:

Franco was moved down in the order over the weekend, and now he is not in the Phillies' lineup on Monday afternoon. He got off to a hot-start, but he is in a slight 0-for-16 slump right now, so maybe the day off will get him back on track. Andres Blanco is starting at third base and batting cleanup against Shelby Miller on Monday.

Franco is slashing .236/.281/.409 with 11 homers and 33 RBI's over 263 plate appearances this year. Our models project him to improve some with a wOBA of .308, 10 homers and 36 RBI's over the remainder of the season.
