Mariners' Nate Karns strikes out eight in no decision Wednesday
Seattle Mariners pitcher Nate Karns struck out eight and allowed two runs on four hits and two walks through five innings on Wednesday, picking up a no-decision as Seattle fell to the Tampa Bay Rays.
Karns has still yet to register a win in June, but he has given up only three runs over his last two starts, earning no-decisions in both.
His 2.32 nERD ranks 40th, and we project him to post a 4.31 ERA and 21.0 percent strikeout rate over the remainder of the season.
