Johnny Giavotella homers again as Angels top Twins
Los Angeles Angels infielder Johnny Giavotella went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Minnesota Twins.
What It Means:
Giavotella connected with an Ervin Santana delivery for a two-run job in the second inning. Giavotella also homered in Monday's game, finishing that one 4-for-4. Prior to this mini-power outburst, Giavotella hadn't gone deep since May 14.
The 28-year-old is slashing .274/.298/.396 with four bombs and 21 RBI's this season. We project him to post a .282 wOBA with three more home runs and three more steals over the remainder of the year.
