Juan Uribe not in Indians' Monday lineup
Cleveland Indians third baseman Juan Uribe (groin) is not in Monday's lineup versus the Kansas City Royals.
Uribe took a ground ball to the groin in Sunday's game and he had to be carted off the field. He had to go to the hospital but he made it back in time for the team flight. He also played catch on Monday, so he shouldn't be out for long. Jose Ramirez is starting at third base and hitting fifth against Edinson Volquez.
Uribe is slashing only .217/.276/.299 with a wOBA of .254 through 174 plate appearances. He has only two homers and 13 RBIs on the year, and our models project him to improve by posting a .291 wOBA with six homers and 24 more RBIs remaining over the course of the season.
