Gary Sanchez sitting for Padres Sunday
The San Diego Padres did not list Gary Sanchez as a starter for Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
What It Means:
Sanchez will take a seat Sunday while Austin Nola takes over at catcher and hits ninth against the Cubs.
Sanchez clubbed homers in back-to-back games against the Marlins earlier this week and played catcher four times in five games, but it remains to be seen how long he'll stick with San Diego.
