Luke Raley scratched for Rays in Game 1 on Saturday; Harold Ramirez enters
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Luke Raley has been scratched from the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Raley was scheduled to start Game 1 of the doubleheader versus Red Sox starter Garrett Whitlock. However, he has been removed from the latest iteration of the lineup. Harold Ramirez is now in at designated hitter, batting sixth in the order.
In 143 plate appearances this season, Raley has a .244 batting average with an .887 OPS, 10 home runs, 23 runs, 21 RBI and 7 stolen bases.
