Guardians send Brayan Rocchio back to minors
The Cleveland Guardians optioned infielder Brayan Rocchio to Triple-A Columbus on Friday.
Rocchio will make his way back to the minors as Jose Ramirez returns from the bereavement list. Ramirez will replace Rocchio on third base Friday and bat third against right-hander Carlos Carrasco and the New York Mets. Andres Gimenez will drop three spots and hit sixth.
