Kansas City Royals third baseman Cheslor Cuthbert is day-to-day with a right elbow contusion.
What It Means:
Cuthbert was already an injury replacement for Mike Moustakas, who sidelined with a knee injury. Cuthbert's injury doesn't seem overly serious, and we can expect him to return to action fairly quickly.
In two weeks filling in for Moustakas, Cuthbert is hitting .275/.310/.350 with a .291 wOBA. He also holds a -0.62 nERD, good for only 242nd.
