Derek Dietrich (wrist) not in Miami's lineup Thursday

Miami Marlins infielder Derek Dietrich (wrist) is not starting Thursday.

What It Means:

Dietrich took a Tony Watson fastball off his left wrist on Wednesday night, but he only suffered a bone bruise. He's considered day-to-day. Miguel Rojas will start at second base versus Pittsburgh Pirates' righty Juan Nicasio.

Dietrich has been outstanding filling in for Dee Gordon. He owns a .387 wOBA with three jacks oin 159 plate appearances. We project him to hit .247/.314/.428 with a .313 wOBA over the remainder of the season.
