San Francisco's Hunter Pence leaves with apparent leg injury
San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence was lifted from Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves with an apparent right leg injury.
Pence hit a slow roller to third base in the fourth inning and pulled up about halfway clutching the back of his right leg. Jarrett Parker subsequently took over for him in right field. This could well be an re-aggravation of a hamstring injury which forced Pence out of action for five games near the end of May. A disabled list stint could be in order.
Pence played in just 52 games last season, and he's dealing with injuries again in 2016. He's produced when he's been on the field, posting a .377 wOBA with seven bombs this season.
