Washington's Bryce Harper is day-to-day with knee contusion
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is day-to-day with a right knee contusion.
Harper was forced to exit Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after he was hit in the right knee by a pitch from Jeremy Hellickson. It doesn't sound like a major concern, but the Nationals will see how he feels on Tuesday.
Despite his recent slump, Harper still owns a .386 wOBA 13 homers and seven steals this season. His 22.6% walk rate and 18.6% strikeout rate are both career-best clips. We project him to put up a .382 wOBA with 23 more dingers this season.
