David Ross hits the century mark with 100th bomb in Cubs' win
Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross slugged the 100th home run of his career Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
What It Means:
It was a three-run blast during a four-run fourth inning against Adam Morgan. Ross intends to retire after the season and he’s going out strong.
The 39-year-old is batting .254/.349/.479 with four home runs and an .828 OPS in 88 total plate appearances this season.
