Shane Victorino does not plan on retiring

Shane Victorino is not planning on retiring, per Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish.

What It Means:

Victorino was released from his minor league contract with the Cubs on Monday after batting .233/.324/.367 through nine games with Triple-A Iowa. The 35-year-old is looking for another opportunity, but interest figures to be limited at this stage of his career.

Victorino slashed .230/.308/.292 in 178 at bats last season with the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels in 2015. His wOBA was just .271 last year.
