Angels' C.J. Wilson is beginning a rehab assignment
Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Inland Empire on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Wilson has pitched a few simulated games and will now start to pitch in some real games in the minor leagues. It is still unclear when he will be back with the Angels. He was coming back from elbow surgery before hurting his shoulder in spring training.
