Ryan Braun

Ryan Braun unavailable again as Brewers take on Mets

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (back) is once again absent from the starting lineup on Saturday.

What It Means:

Braun continues to be plagued by lower back stiffness. Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Alex Presley and Ramon Flores will patrol the outfield for the Brewers on Saturday against Jacob deGrom and the Mets.

Braun is having a great start to the season, slashing .364/.429/.576 with seven home runs, 28 RBI's, and a .418 wOBA in 147 plate appearances. Our models currently project him to hit .285/.360/.496 with 18 home runs, 13 steals, 62 RBI's, and a .366 wOBA over the remaining course of the year.
