Chris Devenski heading back to the Astros' bullpen
Houston Astros pitcher Chris Devenski is moving back to the bullpen.
Houston was rolling with a six-man rotation for a bit, but Devenski will now return to the long relief role he occupied at the opening of the 2016 season. He'll be thrown right back into the rotation mix if there's an injury.
The 25-year-old right-hander owns a cool 3.24 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 20.90 strikeout percentage over his first 33 1/3 innings (four starts, six relief appearances) with the Astros.
