Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is not in the starting lineup against the Houston Astros on Saturday.
What It Means:
Pedroia has played in all but one game for the Red Sox to start the season, so he is getting the day off to rest on Saturday. Josh Rutledge is starting at second base and hitting seventh on Saturday afternoon against Collin McHugh.
