Isaac Paredes riding pine Wednesday for Rays
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Isaac Paredes is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against right-hander Nick Pivetta and the Boston Red Sox.
Paredes started the past three games and went 0-for-10 with a walk and six strikeouts. Brandon Lowe, who returned from the injured list Wednesday, will replace Paredes on second base and bat second. He will be followed in the order by Harold Castro and Randy Arozarena, respectively.
Lowe has a $2,700 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays’ implied total (3.88) is No. 16 in the majors today.
