Darin Ruf sitting for Mets Sunday
The New York Mets did not list Darin Ruf in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Ruf will start Sunday's game on the sidelines while Daniel Vogelbach joins the lineup at designated hitter and bats fifth. Pete Alonso will take over at first base for Ruf.
Our models project Ruf to make 82 more plate appearances this season, with 3 home runs, 10 runs, 10 RBI, 1 stolen base, and a .229 batting average.
