Cincinnati's Devin Mesoraco to have labrum surgery Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
Mesoraco lost his 2015 season to a torn labrum in his hip, and the shoulder surgery may cost him this season as well.
Playing through the injury, his numbers were ugly this year. He was hitting .140/.218/.160 and had a -2.48 nERD, one of the lower marks in the Majors, through 16 games.
