George Springer's gargantuan home run leads Astros past Twins
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer hit a two-run home run and scored twice as the Astros topped the Minnesota Twins, 6-4, on Tuesday.
Springer's two-run shot in the fourth inning -- which cleared the train tracks in left -- was his second homer in as many games, giving him six in all. He's got 14 RBI's and 16 runs scored to go with those six dingers.
There are some highs and lows which come with the 26-year-old's offensive game, but he's hitting .274/.347/.500 through 27 games, a line the Astros will certainly take over a full season. We project Springer to hit to the tune of a .343 wOBA with 15 jacks and 11 steals over the rest of the season.
