Devin Mesoraco (shoulder) remains out of the Reds' lineup
Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco (shoulder) is out of the Reds' starting lineup again on Monday versus the Giants.
Mesoraco still has some stiffness in his left shoulder, through it's not considered anything serious. Tucker Barnhart will get another start behind the plate. He is penciled into the No. 8 spot in the order.
In addition to the injury, Mesoraco owns a .174 wOBA through 55 plate appearances, so this could serve as a sort of mental break, as well. Over the rest of the campaign, we project Mesoraco to post a .255 wOBA with four long balls.
